En-Suite Double Room – Short Let, 9th Nov–19th Dec

Available from Monday 9th November until Saturday 19th December (strictly short-term hence the low price).

We are renting out a spacious double bedroom with a private en-suite in our friendly family home.

The Room & House:
Fully furnished & private, situated on the 2nd floor of the house. The kids rooms are on the first floor so you will have peace and privacy. Inludes a double bed, large mirrored wardrobes, desk, your own under counter fridge-freezer in the room, and a private en-suite shower room. Bedding can be provided if required.

Shared spaces: Full access to the kitchen and dining area. Our open-plan living room is also available for you to use in the evenings (from around 8:30–9:00 pm once the kids are done for the night).

All bills and essentials included: Wi-Fi, utilities, and council tax are all covered in the weekly rent, along with day-to-day household supplies (toilet paper, hand soap, cleaning/washing-up supplies).

About Us & Household Info:
Muslim family home: You will be sharing with a mum and two polite, well-behaved children (aged 14 and 10). We are of Pakistani heritage, British by culture and moderately practicing. I understand Urdu and Punjabi, while the kids speak English (plus a bit of school French).

Kitchen guidelines: As we are a Muslim household, we would appreciate a pork free, alcohol free kitchen. Having your own fridge-freezer in your room makes keeping your own groceries easy.

Pets: One well-behaved, litter-trained cat is welcome, provided you take full responsibility for its care and cleanliness. Smaller pets may be considered, just ask, though no dogs please.

Couples & Mon-Fri Lets:
Couples are welcome for an extra £40/week (£225/week total).
We would also welcome anyone looking for a Mon-Fri base on the run up to Christmas.

Commute to London:
Fast trains take just 17 minutes to London Waterloo. I work in the City (Bank/Fenchurch Street) and my door-to-door commute takes around an hour.
