Double fully furnished room in comfortable house

This is a comfortable room for one person only. (NO COUPLES). The room is available from 30th November for a period of six months minimum. It is in our shared house in the Tolworth area of Surbiton KT6. It is a fully furnished double room of average size approx 11 ft x 11.5 ft and has everything needed to start renting. It has good quality furniture and bedding and it has a fridge, kettle etc in the room. A desk can be provided if wanted. The room is especially well insulted and easy to keep warm. So good for those who hate the cold. The rent is 750 pcm and all utility bills are included including broadband. Also included are household consumables like toilet rolls, soap and clean towels and bath mats and fairy liquid etc and as a curtsey an additional cleaning service is given free of charge. So that the communal areas are kept clean at all times. The deposit is also £750 and must be paid to secure the room and remove it from the rental listings.

There are two shared bathrooms. Both are full bathrooms and have a bath and shower and one has a walk-in rain shower. They are kept clean and topped up with things like toilet rolls, clean hand towels and bathmats and soap etc.

There is also a shared kitchen with large cooker, two ovens and also a microwave and a dishwasher. The kitchen is well stocked for renters with large amounts of cutler, crockery and pots and pans etc for everyone to use. There is a separate eating area and also a separate utility room with a washing machine and cleaning items and airers, ironing boards etc to borrow The Lounge area is currently out of use whilst it is renovated but opens up onto the back garden (as does the kitchen) which has eating area with large table and chairs and BBQ and a small weights area. The house is a big solid homely house and surprisingly large and quiet and you often don't notice if others are in.

The house is close to Tolworth Broadway (3 min walk) with plenty of shops, restaurants and take outs to suit all. Everything from Iceland to M&S and plenty of grocers. There is also a library. Kingston, which is good for clothes shopping, is about 10/15 mins by bus and Surbiton High street closer. It is very convenient location and with great transport links, and it is a very easy to get around from here. Tolworth train station is 6/7 min walk across the road (Waterloo 25mins) and numerous buses pass through including several to Kingston and Surbiton every few mins including the night bus and the 281 goes all the way to Heathrow. For drivers the A3 is right on our doorstep and there are links to the M25 in two different directions in about ten mins. There are also countryside walks and cycle paths starting near to the station and covering many miles as well as parks etc.

We are looking for a professional working person or mature student who has their own life outside home and not a work from home person. We are friendly and get along and have fun but we are not a party house. We seek someone who is also friendly and can along with others. Whilst the communal areas of the house is cleaned often, we would like a person who is tidy and cleans up after themselves so it stays that way. The cleaning is not a personal service and people still need to wash up their own dishes and put them away dried etc. This is a comfortable home for hard working adults who are nice and considerate of of others.

Currently we are looking after a friendly dog whilst she is rehomed (due to a death). She is well behaved and quiet and loves people but won't bother you if you are not interested. She stays downstairs and the house doesn't smell of dog because it is clean.
