TRANSPORT
==========
Excellent transport links for getting around.
Harrow & Wealdstone station (Bakerloo & London Overground - Zone 5) - 5-7 minutes walk.
• Central London (Oxford Circus) – is 40 minutes on the Bakerloo Line.
• Euston Station – is 15 minutes on the overground direct train.
• Clapham Junction - is 35 minutes on the Southern overground direct train.
• There are plenty of local buses within 5 minutes walk:140, 182, 258, 340, 186, H9, going to Harrow-On-The-Hill, Heathrow (24hr), Northwick Park Hospital, Watford, Edgware, Stanmore & Hendon areas.
• N18 night bus from Trafalgar Square stops 2 minutes away at the end of the road.
THE AREA
========
• Less than 5 minutes walk to the High Street where there are Asda & Iceland supermarkets plus a 24 hour International supermarket nearby.
• 5 minutes walk to Harrow Leisure Centre, The Gym Group and Anytime Fitness.
• 5 minutes walk - to various pubs and take-away outlets. There are also some highly recommended restaurants if you like to eat out sometimes like I do.
PARKING
========
•There are parking restrictions every day including Bank Holiday's all day except between 12midnight - 7am.
•At the end of the road you can park in a lesser restricted zone which is about a 2-3 minute walk where restrictions are 10am-11am and 2pm-3pm only during the week and no restrictions at weekends.
HOME SAFETY
============
• There are CCTV cameras outside at the front and rear of the property and also inside the communal areas downstairs in the hallway, lounge and dining areas.
• The property has mains operated interlinked smoke alarms with battery back-up so if one alarm goes off it triggers all of the alarms to go off. The smoke alarms are on each floor and most rooms.
• Gas Safety Certificate and boiler serviced annually. There is a Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector in the boiler cupboard.
• All doors are fire resistant and are fitted with intumescent seals.
• In case of a power cut there is emergency lighting in the hallway, stairs and landing.
OTHER
======
•Smoking is only allowed in the front or rear garden.
• No shoes to be worn around the house.
I am a Live-in Landlord, 55 year old English guy who lives with a couple of lodgers at the property permanently and has no pets.
I am looking for quiet, respectful and considerate renter who just needs somewhere quiet to rest during the week.
This is not a party house I'm afraid. I tend to go out and socialise and want to relax when I'm home and prefer you to do the same.
When I'm around I'm quite sociable and don't mind having a cuppa with others in the house but also respect people need their own space too.
Please don't contact me if you are looking for somewhere permanent.
It would be appreciated if you let me know a bit about yourself such as your age, whereabouts and what do you do for work etc
Please let me know if you have any questions that I haven't already included.
Thanks Marcus
