Looking for a responsible and friendly housemate to share my home on Chamberlayne Avenue, just off Preston Road in Wembley.

This is a bit more than the usual room in a house share. You'll have **two rooms for your own use**: a double bedroom plus a second private room that can be used as a home office, dressing room or simply extra personal space.

Although not en-suite, you'll also have **your own bathroom and toilet**, directly by your rooms. Your rooms and bathroom are all on the ground floor.

You'll have full access to the shared living room and kitchen, both on the first floor, as well as the garden. There's also a separate laundry/utility area with washing machine and dryer, as well as a dishwasher in the kitchen.

The house is around a 10-minute walk from either Preston Road or North Wembley station, with the 245, 483, 79 and 204 buses nearby.

**£1,495 per month, all inclusive:** electricity, gas, council tax, water and internet are included. This also includes a cleaner twice a month, including cleaning of your two rooms and private bathroom/toilet as well as the shared areas.

**A little about us**

I'm a working dad and the only other adult living in the house. My 8-year-old daughter stays with me every other week.

My current female lodger has been living here for the past four years and is only leaving because she is moving abroad, hence I'm now looking for someone new.

I also travel for work at least once a month, sometimes more, so there are regular periods when you'll have considerably more privacy and the house largely to yourself.

It's a relaxed, clean and active home rather than a party house. I'm ideally looking for a working professional with a similar lifestyle — active/sporty would be a great fit.

Because this is also my daughter's home, a female housemate would be my preference, although finding the right person and household fit is ultimately the most important thing.

Single occupancy only. No smoking or drugs please. Someone who enjoys a drink is absolutely fine.

**Well-behaved dogs or cats are welcome.** We like animals; the main reason I don't have one myself is simply that I travel too frequently for work.

I'm more interested in finding someone who will be comfortable here and a good fit for the household than simply filling the rooms as quickly as possible.
