Lovely double room in Altrincham – £700 + bills

I’m looking for a lovely new housemate to join me in my home in Altrincham, as my current housemate has just bought her own place locally and is moving out.

The house is on a really lovely, friendly road, around a 15-minute walk into Altrincham town centre and alty market, and less than a 5-minute walk from the tram stop, so it’s incredibly well connected. We’re also right by the canal and a lovely park, which is perfect for walks and runs.
There’s also parking available right outside the house, with a resident’s permit costing just £40 for the whole year, so really reasonable if you have a car.

A bit about me & what I’m looking for…
I’m a 30 (eek) year old, clinical psychologist and work from home most days, so I’m around the house quite a bit, but I also have a busy social life and like getting out and about (seeing friends, gym, run clubs, and I run a book club at alty market each month… definitely just an excuse to drink wine and chat).

I’m looking for a professional girly (sorry, no students) who is friendly, sociable and keen to be friends, but equally someone who is independent and happy doing their own thing.

I’d love for my new housemate to become a friend as well as someone I live with. I’m quite social and enjoy doing things together, whether that’s watching TV with a glass of wine, going for a drink or dinner, or having the occasional silly dinner party at home with other friends.
