Double Room in Ancoats – Professional Lodger Wante

I am the owner of a two-bedroom flat in Cutting Room Square, Ancoats. I am looking for a clean, tidy and respectful professional lodger for the second double bedroom.

The flat would suit someone who works full-time, is mainly office or workplace based, and is looking for a comfortable and relaxed place to call home.

The flat:
The flat is a spacious, fully furnished two-bedroom apartment with an open-plan kitchen and living area, Juliet balconies and plenty of natural light. You would have primary use of the main bathroom, as I have my own en-suite. The kitchen is shared, but you will have your own fridge, freezer space and cupboards. You will need to bring your own cookware, crockery, cutlery and any personal kitchen appliances.

Location:
The flat is on Cutting Room Square in the heart of Ancoats, with plenty of cafés, restaurants and other local amenities nearby. Co-op is around two minutes away, while Aldi and PureGym are less than a 10-minute walk. New Islington tram stop and Manchester Piccadilly are both approximately a 10–15 minute walk, and Manchester city centre is also within easy walking distance.

About me:
I work in Environment and Sustainability and work from home four days a week. Outside work, I enjoy exercise, keeping active and generally having a relaxed home environment.

My partner visits regularly but does not live at the flat.

Who I am looking for:

As I work from home most of the week, I am ideally looking for someone who is mainly office or workplace based rather than someone who works from home full-time.

I am looking for a full-time working professional who is considerate, respectful of each other’s space and happy to look after the flat as their home too.

It is a fairly relaxed household and not a party house, so I am looking for someone with a similar lifestyle.

* No overnight guests
* Please keep the bathroom and shared areas clean and tidy

I want whoever moves in to feel comfortable and at home here, while being considerate of each other’s space and routines.
