Double bedroom with en-suite

Lovely 2-bed apartment in Ancoats, right on the marina and just a short walk from the Northern Quarter. Aldi, the gym and plenty of coffee spots, bars and restaurants are all really close by, so the location is ideal.

The apartment is technically unfurnished, but I already have the main living room furniture, kitchen bits and lots of general home stuff, so you’d really only need to furnish your own bedroom. I’m currently in the process of making the flat a bit more homely getting fresh furniture and adding some more character after my previous housemate moved out, so it’s still a little bit of a work in progress!

There’s a good amount of storage throughout, a kitchen island, and the available bedroom has a little walk-in wardrobe/storage area with hanging space and room to add drawers, a desk or whatever suits you.

A little bit about me — I’m 29 and work as a lash tech. I’ve lived in Manchester for around seven years and I’m very used to sharing with people, so I’m respectful of other people’s space and like the home to feel relaxed, clean and comfortable.

I’m sociable and love music & a boogie, but I’m equally into my downtime. I’m really into the gym, yoga, walks, travelling, love to cook. It would be lovely to live with someone around a similar age who I genuinely get along with, ideally someone friendly, independent and maybe a little creative too.

I also have a small dog part-time. He’s eight now, very well behaved and completely used to apartment living. He’s quite shy and timid at first, but once he knows you he’s super sweet and loves a cuddle. He won’t be there all the time and you wouldn’t ever be expected to be responsible for him & often comes to work with me.
