Hello, We have a room available in a comfortable 5 bedroom detached house in Unsworth, Bury.

We have a double available (THE RENT SHOWN IS FOR SINGLE OCCUPANCY, IT WOULD BE £160 per week FOR A COUPLE) furnished with a double bed, bedside tables a wardrobe and a tall chest of drawers and a dressing table. This bedroom looks out onto the front of the house and the street. Next to the bedroom is a electric toilet and washbasin. Also upstairs is the bathroom with a bath, toilet, sink and shower cubicle, the box room, which is now our office, our bedroom and another bedroom for our family and friends.
Downstairs there is our own private living room and dinning room. There is also a hall and beyond that a large open plan Mediterranean style room separated into areas by distinctive arches. It contains the fully equipped kitchen, an area with kitchen units and a coffee/tea making stand and a dining/sitting room with a TV dinning table and sofa this room looks out onto the back garden from Patio Doors. There is also an integral garage with a washing machine and lines for drying clothed when the weather is bad. All that would be shared.
Suitcases can be stored in the loft.
At the back of the house is a small but very pretty garden with furniture which would be shared.
There is no off road parking but this is a quiet suburban street with on road parking immediately outside the house. I have BT Infinity wireless broadband and the house has, of course, central heating in all rooms with a separate thermostat for each radiator.
We like to think our home is very comfortable and homely with ample space for relative privacy. It is close to a library and local shops including a Co-op just a 5 min walk and we are 0.5 miles from a gym, 1 mile from Whitefield Metro station and Morrisons, 2 miles from motorway links, 3 miles from Bury and 6 miles from Manchester.
I am 70, my partner Eileen is 65.
We do ask that the house(INCLUDING YOUR ROOM)is respected and kept clean tidy and aired.
We are not able to facilitate working from home.
