Room to rent in Chorlton

Hello! I am looking for a new flatmate as sadly my current one is going down under for a year to follow her Aussie dreams.

I'm 33, single, work as a freelancer in arts marketing/PR and as a scriptwriter so I'm WFH pretty much full-time. I have a five year-old collie who is very well behaved and affectionate (doesn't bark, a good boy!) so def looking for a dog-lover. Would prefer female/non-binary, single and liberal - I'm bisexual so LGBTQ friendly household here!

The room is relatively small (you might be able to squeeze a desk in) so it might suit a non-WFH person better. With bills total cost comes to about £775 and we split responsibility of doing them. The house is quite old so a little rough and ready, but we have a private landlord who is good if any issues come up. We have a small, gated shared garden but we are really the only ones in the building who use it! The flat is ground floor and there are two other flats upstairs in the building, quiet and nice people in their 20s/30s.

I'm pretty chill, like my own space sometimes but also like hanging out, having dinner / wine together and watching something. Keen to find someone I can be pals with and wants to make the place their home.

I work in the theatre/arts space and like cinema/books/music/cultural stuff. Not a big party person, more of a pub and a few drinks kind of gal but v occasionally I'll go for a big night out (I'm in my 30s now okay), and we have birthday / new year parties sometimes here.

The room is available from January but potential to be earlier (December) if you need it then.
