Short term room in student area

Looking to fill a room with a friendly face. I own the house and live here so I’m looking for someone who sees keeping the bills low as a team effort. My existing housemates are both quiet at bed time and I love this.

I usually have people just moving to the area and who want to find their bearings before committing to something longer term. It’s much nicer to find someone’s a great match and ask them to stay than feel like you’ve nothing in common with your housemates.

House has shared bathroom with bath and overbath shower, shared kitchen, back yard overlooking cherry tree, shared living/ dining room with dining table and sofa. Wifi throughout.

I have an allotment about 50m away which you'll be welcome to spend time in; gardening, reading, doing yoga on the deck or eating, talking, drinking and playing cards around the fire with us when I host a get-together.

The house is at the edge of the student area, 10 minutes from the 24/7 airport-city centre bus route (where you'll also find Fallowfield Sainsbury's and the centre of all the student nightlife), 1 minute from the closest bus route (50) and has a retail park with a Barnado's, Iceland, Home Bargains and the cycleway and corner shops about 100m from the house.

I'm into sports and keeping fit so if you are too, it'd be nice to spend some time together doing that but it's certainly not a requirement!

I've stated that I want an English speaker because previously I got 100 requests within 48 hours and only 2 of them felt like a conversation; I'd like less spam and more genuine interaction. As long as you've understood what I'm looking for and respond to that, I don't actually care about English proficiency.
