En suite room in Levenshulme

En suite bedroom in a pretty terraced house with an open fire and a garden. Suitable for someone who wants a calm and relaxed place to live. Rent includes all bills, but heating is subject to a fair usage agreement, because of winter heating prices. Use of washing machine, broadband, cleaner (every two weeks), bedding and towels included.
I now work part-time as a lecturer at the University of Manchester. My husband is a retired translator. He is experiencing some cognitive difficulties though he is sociable and enjoys meeting people. We are a multi-cultural family and our home language is Spanish, though we speak English with our guests. We are happy to live with an international short stay student. PhD students and post-docs very welcome.
Shared living room, kitchen, and garden, and a part-time cat, who we share with my daughter, from three doors down.
We are vegetarian, and prefer to share the kitchen with a vegetarian/vegan.
The house is well-situated for the university (20-30 min) or town centre (40 min), with excellent bus services 192, 191 and 197, and a 15 minute bike ride.
Levenshulme is a safe, multi-ethnic area with great places to eat and lovely pubs and bars. There are a growing number of interesting places to visit (Nordi, Talleyrand, Station Hop, Station South amongst others). It is well-placed for walking and cycling trips to explore Manchester's green spaces.
