ℹ️ We are seeking 2 professionals or postgraduate students to rent my former home in Manchester City Centre. Please note, we are looking to rent the 2 rooms together as part of a single joint tenancy agreement.

⚠️ The apartment is fully furnished to a high standard across all areas; as such, it is only suitable for those wanting to live in Manchester on a temporary, fixed-term basis - without bringing furniture or large amounts of belongings (our preferred duration of stay is 12 months). If this does not align with your own needs/circumstances, this property would not be a good fit for you.

📌 The apartment is in a safe, cosy development in Southern Gateway, near Oxford Road. This is a great location, within walking distance of the universities and a wide variety of shops, bars, restaurants, etc. It is also very close to the newly developed and highly desirable Deansgate Square (Owen Street) district.

🚌 The property is surrounded by great transport links: both Oxford Road train station and the Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop are under 5 minutes away, and there are bus stops all along Oxford Road.

🛏️ The apartment has 2 double bedrooms:

1) The main bedroom has a good sized window and comes furnished with a double bed (+ new, unused mattress), wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, mirror and table. It also has an adjoining ensuite with shower and toilet.

2) The second bedroom also has a good sized window and comes furnished with a double bed (+ new, unused mattress), wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, mirror and table.

🛁 The main bathroom is of a generous size and features a toilet, bath, showerhead and huge mirror. Notably, the apartment is about to be fitted with a brand new boiler.

🛋️ The large open-plan kitchen and living area features a sizeable balcony and is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, electric cooktop, fridge, freezer, microwave and plenty of storage space.

✨ The ideal tenants would be tidy (most important), considerate and responsible; our foremost priority is to find people who will keep the apartment clean, orderly and in an undamaged, unchanged state. The property has a lot of sentimental value, so being house proud is a must! With this in mind, if you are looking for a property to redecorate and rearrange, this would not be a good match.

🔑 Rent is £1350 per month, not including bills (water, electricity, broadband, TV license, etc). Unless you are exempt, Council Tax will need to be paid directly to Manchester City Council and the property is Band D.
