Description
Double room to rent in our home in Monton M30.
Beautiful parks on our doorstep and a lovely high street a stones throw away with cute restaurants, cafe’s and bars. 10 minutes from patricroft station on the train to Piccadilly station in Manchester.
I am looking for a lodger to move into our home. It’s just myself living here at the moment but my partner will be moving back in, in 6months.
(That doesn’t mean you have to move out in 6 months)
We have done lots of house shares in the past so are accustom to sharing our home. We want it to feel like your home just as much as ours and respect it like it is your own!
Amenities:
🌞 lovely sunny garden for you to enjoy,
🧺washer & dryer in the cellar.
🍽️Dishwasher in the kitchen.
🔥 log burner (great to get cosy in winter)
🚂 close to train station (10 mins into city centre)
☕️ 2minute walk to the local high street with bars cafe’s and restaurants
🌳 lots of parks and green space on the doorstep including the canal, loop line and dukes drive.
🏥 close to Salford Royal
🛣️ close to motorway links

I am looking for someone who likes pets as we have a friendly and gentle doggo called fly and a cat who thinks she is the boss.
The ideal housemate needs to be clean and tidy and clean up all shared areas after themselves and chip in with the general cleaning of the house. (I don’t want to feel like a maid).
Would like someone who likes to have a chit chat about their day, we can share a glass of wine or two with now and then and share some hobbies occasionally but equally respects this is a professional household and not a student house. Ideally would like it to feel relaxed like friends sharing a house rather than strangers accommodating each other.
In my spare time I’m usually talking my dog on hikes, reading books, having a casual pint on the high street or cooking up a storm as I absolutely love to cook.
I’m veggie but I don’t care if you cook meat (I cook it for my dog).
I’m also a teacher so during term time I need the house to be quiet after 9:30pm as my job is quite stressful and I’m up at 6am. If you are a student I’m looking more the mature professional/student vibe maybe someone doing a masters, PHD or doctorate.
If you think you’re going to be a good fit, get in touch. Would like a nice friendly atmosphere so the vibe is important! LGBTQ+ Friendly 🏳️🌈
