Ensuite Room, New Maker Yards M5, Jan Move-In

My flatmate is relocating to London for work, so his room in our 2-bed, 2-bath apartment in Potters, New Maker Yards by Get Living is available from 3rd week of November or January 2027 (Whichever is comfortable). I’m looking for someone to join me on a long-term basis.

The room:
Furnished double bedroom with a private ensuite bathroom and plenty of natural light.

The apartment:
Open-plan living area with a modern kitchen, a balcony and high-spec interiors. I’m a working professional, friendly and easy to get along with. I’m in the office a couple of days a week and tend to keep to my room when I’m home, so the living areas are generally quiet and available to you. I’ve lived here for two years and it’s a calm, settled flat with a good balance of privacy and company.

The building:
Co-working spaces, community lounges and regular resident events. Cafés, bars and canal-side walks are on your doorstep, with good tram and bus links to Manchester city centre and MediaCity.

How the tenancy works:
This is a long-term let. The current tenancy is in my flatmate’s name, so you and I will each sign a new tenancy directly with Get Living starting in January, on terms very similar to the existing one. You won’t be taking over his lease. Get Living will run their usual referencing and approval process.

Rent and costs:
£800 pcm for the ensuite room. Wi-Fi is included, and council tax and other bills are split equally between us, currently around £200 pcm each on top of the rent.
Deposit £749. Available from January.

Who it suits:
A clean, respectful professional aged 21 to 35 looking for a long-term home. Sorry, no couples, pets or students.
