Description
Hi!
My name is Jules and I'm looking for a new female flatmate to join me in my gorge Salford Quays flat!. The flat is on the 6th floor and is in the Clippers Quay development. It's a fully managed building and they're so helpful.
Key details:
Rent - £735 per month (each) super fast broadband included!
Council Tax - £122 per month (each, expected to reduce slightly in April)
Water - Metered around £25 per month each
Electric - on a fixed tariff until May 2027 expected £40 per month each
My flat mate's tenancy currently ends 20/12/2026, however I'm keen to get something sorted before then, so we're open to discussion around a date that works for everyone.
The contract currently runs until April, and there is a fee of £50 for a mid tenancy change, usually paid by the outgoing tenant. I'm also looking to speak to the building about starting a new contract to secure our rent for a longer period of time.
The room:
Your room is a fully furnished, spacious double ensuite room with double wardrobe, 2x side tables and set of drawers.
It looks out onto Exchange Quay and is super quiet.
Your bathroom is huge with a walk in shower! And if you like a bath, the main bathroom (which is mine) has one which you can of course use!
The Flat:
A massive open plan living room/kitchen with sofa, arm chairs, kitchen table + chairs, and TV stand all come with the flat.
I've added a big smart TV and my very important book shelves, as well as some house plants - I'll always welcome more! If you're a reader, we'll always make room for more books, and I'd love to make the space comfy and cosy with a new flat mate.
We're situated directly across from the Exchange Quay tram stop, with others very close by also. There's multiple bus stops across the road too.
There's a Co-op next door and for bigger shops there's an Aldi up the road, and M & S in the other direction and Tesco and Asda a short drive/bus ride away.
We're also about 15 minutes on the tram to the city centre so perfect for that city life but with a little bit more quiet.
The building also comes equipped with a small gym, residents lounge/co working space, bookable meeting rooms, kitchen and cinema room - all amazing for socialising.
Attached to the building is a great coffee shop, wine bar and restaurant and we're a 10 minute walk from a Pure Gym.
About Me:
I'm a 32 year old professional who works from home full time, with occasional travel. My desk is tucked away in my bedroom and I'm happy with living with someone who also works from home.
Outside of work I love reading, really good coffee and I'll never say no to a sweet treat!
I moved here in September, so I'm brand new to the area and I'm currently trying out every social event you can imagine to meet and make friends.
I'm naturally a social person, but I also really appreciate (and need) quiet, down time, which is usually when you'll find me in bed with a book.
I love all things cute, cosy and witchy!!
For me, home is a calm, safe space where everyone feels comfortable and welcomed, but also where we can have the occasional dinner party and drinks together or with friends!
If you're a female looking for a lovely cosy flat in the heart of Salford Quays and just minutes from Manchester city centre, please reach out!
