Room to rent in a large house in Whalley Range, Manchester near Chorlton Metrolink station. House is currently shared by 2 male professionals (teacher and engineer) and now the 3rd smaller house bedroom is available to rent. There is plenty of room in the house.
Idea location with short walk of Chorlton Metrolink. There is easy commuting to Manchester city center, airport, University, Didsbury etc.
The property is a 3 bed and 2 bath upstairs. Downstairs there is a dining room, living room and kitchen. There is also a large garden. The kitchen has a table to eat however there also is a coffee table in the living room. The living room has a large sofa and a couple of other chairs. There is a TV in the living room with Netflix. Hall way is large.
There is internet in the property which is included. Rent includes council tax however water, gas and electricity are shared.
Each of the room has been cabled for internet so its possible to plug into the internet if you prefer a wire rather than wifi. The bike shed also has internet and currently has a turbo trainer in it which one of the house mates uses in the lock down.
In the back there is lockable brick out shed which is very safe to store bikes.
There are 2 apple trees in the garden where you can eat as much fruit as you like. Lots of places to pick blackberries. It's possible to see a lot of wildlife in the garden.
There are solar panels on the roof which help the environment.

Ideal house mate is a difficult question to answer as I have lived with quite a number of people in a shared house situation over the years both in London, America and around the UK. I am extremely flexible and in the way I interact with my fellow house mates and tend to work around any one. House would suit all walks of life from professional to maybe PHD students. Somebody who cleans up after themselves would be preferred rather than somebody who leaves dirty plates everywhere. Would suit somebody who was looking for a shorter let than a longer let I would have thought.
There is a cleaning rota in order to keep on top of the cleaning
