The Double room is available from the 1st July 2026…. PLEASE NOTE….It is for ONE PERSON ONLY, NOT COUPLES.!

The house is a Victorian terraced house with original features, all the ground floor has original varnished floorboards.

The room I have is a double bedroom, on the first floor, at the front of the house, overlooking the road, which is lined with beautiful Beech trees.

The room has a large double bed, a large built in wardrobe, chest of draws.
The room itself is carpeted

There is an upstairs bathroom with a large shower over a bath, basin and toilet.

There is also a separate toilet next to the bathroom.
Downstairs there is a separate shower , toilet and basin

The kitchen is quite spacious and has a washing machine and tumble dryer, for use in the winter. There is a long washing line outside for drying their clothes.

There is a living room with a breakfast bar table chairs, and sofas

All bills are included, including Superfast Broadband which is up to 900 Mb of download and 900 Mb of upload, which is the fastest you can get.

The garden is very secluded with very mature tall bamboo’s, honeysuckle plants, climbing plants, climbing roses together with large leaf shrubs. It also has 10 m of benches and chairs for relaxing.

The household is made up of All working professionals and a PhD student. It is a clean, tidy house and each person is respectful of other peoples space, everybody gets on very well and enjoys each other’s company.

We are looking for a clean, quiet, tidy house mate to rent this large double bedroom.
