Double Room in Calm, Modern Flat | City Centre

Hi! Real apartment looks better than the photos as I have a simple phone. :) This is a 2-bedroom flat and a good sized room being freshly converted into a comfortable cosy bedroom. A wardrobe will be arriving in the next couple of weeks, and the desk and keyboards currently in the photos will be removed to give you more space, unless you'd like them to stay. Ideas are welcome, to make the room more personal!

Bathroom
You’ll essentially have the main bathroom to yourself as I have my ensuite. The bathroom has both a bath with an integrated shower, and storage space.

Shared Spaces
The living room and kitchen are shared. The living room has 2 juliette balconies, and it's such a delight to have, especially during summer. They overlook the road, but it's a quiet road, and as it's 2nd floor, it's still private. It also has a TV area, sofa, and a dining table. The kitchen is a good size for one person at a time to cook in. Therefore it's perfect as only 2 people maximum will be living in this apartment. There’s a dishwasher to make life easier.

For you that is into your fitness fun, there's a balance ball available, and also a pull-up bar with bands.

Bills
- Bills are included (council tax, electricity, water, etc.)
- Important detail: There's a good sized TV for movie nights, but there's no TV licence in this household as I use Prime videos which there's ample of choice unless you have your own memberships.

Location is absolutely fantastic!
Quiet area, with a communal big garden, on top of the enclosed parking area - in the heart of Southampton.

Asda – less than 8 mins walk
Lidl – around 15 mins walk
Bedford Place (bars, pubs, restaurants) – 10 mins walk
Westquay shopping centre – 15 mins walk
Ocean Village – 25 mins walk (or a quick bus ride)
There are also gyms, parks, and a library on our door step.

Transport
It’s a 10-minute walk to the train station at an easy pace (4 minutes if you sprint – tested already!). Bus connections are excellent, and if you drive, you may be able to rent an enclosed car park space from neighbours or there's free street parking, few roads away. There’s also a bike parking in the car park, albeit I keep mine in the apartment, you can do so as well.
