Ensuite room in Portswood, Southampton.

Close to the University and in easy reach of the city centre by public transport. This is a small double room and is probably more comfortable for a single person, although couples have lived in it in the past. It has an ensuite shower room and access to the garden direct from the room. A tenant would have use of the kitchen, which has a small dining area.
The house is a central terrace with no parking, in residents' parking zone 5. A tenant would be able to apply for a parking permit. It is in tax band B. The rent includes a contribution to council tax as I will lose my solo occupant status.
It is imperative that any tenant likes animals as I have many - in particular two rescue dogs which may take time to know you. I would consider a tenant with an animal of their own, subject to it getting on with my dogs or being something which lives in a cage.
The room currently contains a king size bed and chests of drawers but I can offer a single bed to give more room.
The house has wi-fi and is centrally-heated.
I do keep a room reserved for my Ukrainian guest, currently at university. While not LBTQ myself, I am an ally.
