There is a local Tesco Express on Lodge Road just a few minutes walk in addition to bars, restaurants and coffee shops in Portswood.
If you are into fitness, there is Reach Gym literally around the corner; perfect to hit the weights or go swimming after a hard day's work. Also, if you fancy some greenery, the Southampton Common is only a 10 minute walk or a short-run.
IS THERE PARKING?
There is free on street parking available on both Highcliff Avenue and Cedar Road! Parking is a real issue in Southampton and the road is not permit based.
