Description
Hi there, I'm a single professional in my late 30s. I'm in a 3 bedroom house on a smallholding with spectacular views to the Black Mountains. There's a really great community here, a very good shop 10 mins away at Longtown, and the house is 30 mins drive from each of Abergavenny, Hay on Wye, and Hereford. There's also some really good pubs close by, such as the Bridge Inn in Michaelchurch Escley, and the Bull's Head in Craswall.
Accommodation: AVAILABLE FROM 24th FEB spacious double room (single occupancy at the rate advertised) with lovely views into the garden, and to the hills beyond. Furnished, though furnishings may differ to the listing photos. There is 4G broadband. It's very rural here so you need your own transport.
Shared bathroom with shower over bath, kitchen, dining room and living room with log burner, though at times the living room will not be accessible when in use as accommodation for visiting friends or family.
The garden is a work in progress, with some lovely old apple trees, views to the mountains, and plans for raised beds and a pond.
Looking for: someone considerate and tidy, who is used to rural living. The ethos of the smallholding is all about nature and being a positive contributor to the environment (I am starting up a cow with calf microdairy) so I am looking for a lodger with similar values.
