Double room in Craswall, Herefordshire

Hi there, I'm Gerard, a professional in my early 40s. I'm looking for a lodger to share my 3 bedroom house, which is on a smallholding with spectacular views to the Black Mountains.

There's a really great community here, good pubs, a very good shop 10 mins away at Longtown, and the house is 30 mins drive from each of Abergavenny, Hay on Wye, and Hereford.

The accommodation is a spacious double room (single occupancy at the rate advertised) with lovely views into the garden, and to the hills beyond. Furnished or part furnished; furnishings may differ to the listing photos. It's very rural here so you will need your own transport.

Bills included. EE 4G broadband included, though I find myself hot-spotting from my mobile a bit.

Shared spaces: bathroom with shower over bath, kitchen, dining room, and living room with log burner. Garden with terrace, table and chairs, raised beds, apple trees and lovely views. Off-street parking in the yard. At times the living room will not be accessible when in use as accommodation for visiting friends or family.

Looking for: someone considerate and tidy, who is used to rural living and house shares. LGBT friendly.
