We’re inviting expressions of interest in a proposed house share in a characterful Victorian farmhouse on the Gaddesden Estate, near Hemel Hempstead and within a 15-minute drive of Berkhamsted High Street.

The house offers a generous communal living room, a kitchen/breakfast room and a private garden surrounded by open countryside.

Proposed monthly room rents, including bills:

• Bedroom 3 – £925
• Bedroom 4 – £925
• Bedroom 2 – £850
• Bedroom 1 – £850
• Ground-floor Bedroom 5 – £850

Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a Jack-and-Jill shower room. A separate bathroom serves the other rooms, and there is also a downstairs WC.

Rent would include heating, electricity, water, council tax, broadband and regular cleaning of communal areas.

The rural location will particularly appeal to people who enjoy a quieter setting. Having a car is likely to be helpful; parking is available.

We’re looking for considerate housemates who will enjoy the home and help keep shared spaces clean and welcoming. Each room is intended for single occupancy.
