Hi, looking for a potential roommate to move into my current rented location. Previous roommate is looking to change locations for their further education.
Currently based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire in a new build of apartments, located ~20 Minute walking distance from town centre and railway station.
CLARITY ON FINANCES:
Upcoming Rent for 2025-2026 period = $1,460
Arranged Rent Split due to difference in room sizes = £803 +£657
Total Deposit = £1,615.38 (Deposit split 50:50 = £808 each was not able to detail this accurately in the SpareRoom add)
Bills are NOT INCLUDED, but Energy/Water/Wifi/Council Tax can be managed through me with 50:50 split (excl Council Tax if Student)
Estimated Monthly Bill Payment = £140 EACH
CLARITY ON FURNISHING:
Current Roommate is happy to provide some of the essential room furnishings (Bed/Drawers) if needed but feel free to just provide your own - happy to talk through specifics if need be
Happy to discussed adding joint furnishings for the shared living room/Kitchen as well.
DETAILS ON ME:
At the moment a working professional at the pharmaceutical company GSK, working at their sites both in Ware & Stevenage.
Outside of work I'm generally easy going and happy to chill with you or get up to something lively. Introvert at heart so if you'd prefer just keeping to yourself most times no problem with me. (But I might try and drag you out to do some Muay Thai occasionally)
If the situation and timing works for you just give me a shout and can talk further about potentially taking up the room
