A special place which you can truly call 'home'... that's what our uniquely bright and spacious shared house is! Ideally situated, and really well equipped - including superfast fibre mesh broadband, that extends throughout the house and into the garden.

The house is tastefully furnished and much bigger than usual rentals, with a massive kitchen and dining space as well as a shared lounge/TV room.
The bedroom features full length shutters, the original Edwardian fireplace, a kingsize double bed with storage underneath, double full height wardrobe, shelving, and chest of drawers - plus bedside table, mirror, lighting etc. Best of all it is south facing so catches the sunshine and warmth all day, and has windows to the rear garden. The en-suite has a new sink with storage under, and big walk-in shower. There is a separate cupboard in the bedroom, partly shelved but also big enough for suitcases, boxes etc. Regular cleaning of the en-suite bathroom and the shared spaces in the house is included in the rent!

At the heart of the house is an expansive open plan kitchen/diner leading onto a large garden with wooden decking, comfortable outdoor seating, a firepit style bbq, and also a large lawn and small garden shed.

The contemporary kitchen has a new supersized Smeg fridge/freezer, Smeg stainless steel range cooker, new m'wave, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. It also has an Air Fryer, which is quick and easy to use.
We have a separate utility room with new samsung w/machine & a new samsung heat pump tumble dryer.
The main lounge is very warm and welcoming - it has 2 large comfy sofas to relax on, an open fireplace and a 50" 4K HDTV, preloaded with freeview tv - Amazon Prime, Netflix, Now tv, Apple tv and Disney Plus are all available!

As you can see, the house is big and bright, and has a wonderfully relaxing but creative atmosphere. Someone who can be sociable, is clean and tidy and has an appreciation of design/culture/travel and animals would be a great fit! We have 2 gorgeous cats that provides hours of entertainment and love any extra attention. The existing housemates are a mixed bunch - but they love the ambience and design of the house and have happily made it their home. They appreciate having the choice of relaxing shared rooms, and their own space for 'peace and quiet' whenever they need it.

What else? There is ample off street parking, and an excellent selection of local shops and places to eat. Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsburys, are all on the doorstep. The Tube is only a short 5 mins walk away, with trains to Central London taking about 40 mins. A bus stop 20m away will take you to Harrow, Uxbridge etc.

The room will be available from early January '25 onwards - the existing lodger isn't leaving, he's just moving up into our beautifully converted loft!
