Lovely Large Double Room - short term

I have a large, bright and comfortable double bedroom available for a short-term stay of 1–2 months in my lovely new townhouse, situated within a quiet and secure gated development.

This would suit someone who is looking for a temporary home, perhaps while working in the area, between homes, relocating, or simply needing somewhere comfortable for a month or two.

🛏️ The room

The bedroom is a large double room on the middle floor of the house, with its own adjacent bathroom.

It comes fully furnished with:

* Comfortable double bed
* Built-in wardrobe
* Plenty of space
* Bright and clean surroundings
* Private/adjacent bathroom

The house is modern, clean and very well maintained, and I’m looking for someone who will appreciate and look after it in the same way.

🗓️ Flexible short-term options

Monday–Friday: £750 per month
Ideal if you work locally and only need accommodation during the week.

Full week: £850 per month
Available for the right person.

I’m particularly interested in finding someone looking for a short-term stay, and a trial month/rolling monthly arrangement can be arranged.

WiFi and all bills are included.

🏡 About the house & me

I am the owner and I’m a very clean, tidy, respectful and easy-going person. I travel quite a lot, so I’m only at the property when I’m in the UK.

Because of this, I’m looking for someone responsible who will treat the house as their own and keep it clean and looked after while I’m away.

My 19-year-old son is also at the property occasionally. He spends some of his time away and is very polite, quiet and relaxed. His bedroom and bathroom are on the top floor, so he has his own space.

🍳 Use of the house

The lodger will have use of the bedroom, adjacent bathroom and kitchen for light cooking and quick/easy meals.

There is no use of the lounge, and unfortunately the room is not suitable for working from home.

This is a lodger agreement for the named person only, so unfortunately I cannot accommodate couples or additional overnight guests.

👩 Who I’m looking for

Female only – no couples.

Ideally, someone who is:

* Clean and tidy
* Respectful and responsible
* Quiet and considerate
* Easy-going and relaxed
* Happy to treat the home with care

For a full-week arrangement, the room is suitable for someone travelling light, with personal belongings rather than furniture or lots of possessions.

One month’s deposit is required.
