I am looking for a female working professional or full time student, to occupy my light and airy spare room, a fully furnished, small double, with queen sized bed. A female house guest is preferred.

The property is in good decorative order throughout, modernised with a vintage feel, and is situated in a tranquil, tucked away area near Folkestone town centre, close to the Creative Quarter, the Old High Street with its gift shops and cafes, Sunny Sands Beach, the Harbour Arm with its restaurants and Lighthouse Champagne Bar.
The two bedroomed house has a decent sized living room/diner, well equipped galley kitchen, and bathroom with shower and bath, plus a rear terrace with table and chairs to sit out and enjoy alfresco coffee and dining in warm weather.
The owner/occupier is looking for an amiable flatmate for a minimum two months and initial six months term, with the possibility to extend subject to the arrangement working on both sides.

REFERENCES (such as from a current employer or university faculty) and ID verification will be necessary. DBS check desirable.
BILLS: Council tax, Water bills, periodic spring cleaning and high speed broadband is included in the lodger fees, under a lodger agreement/licence to occupy a room in a shared house. Electricity and gas bills are to be split 50/50.
It's important that lodgers/ house guests love animals. The rent, which has already been dropped to below market rates, may be negotiable for a cat friendly person willing to undertake occasional cat sitting duties. My two felines are indoor-only pets, and only responsible persons fitting the ad description will be considered.
PARKING: there may be the possibility of a parking permit for longer stays at the house. Otherwise, there is free local parking a short walk away.
