The contract:
Usually the contract is initially for 1 month (negotiable) and rolls on each month thereafter.
Mon-Fri reduction can be considered.

Travel:
- 7 minute walk to Maidstone East train station (Ashford-London Victoria)
- 15 minute walk to Maidstone West train station (Medway and St Pancras)
- 7-12 minute walk to town centre buses.
- 5 minute drive to the M20 and M2.

Parking:
Difficult. Best for someone without a car.
2 hours free 9am-6pm.

2 double bedrooms either side of the stairwell offers good privacy. Bathroom.

Under bed storage, tall drawers, cupboard with hanging rail, full length mirror, desk, seat, large window overlooking garden sunsets, black-out curtains.
Room measures 3.4m x 2.6m.

Bath, good shower, combi boiler, water softener and water filter (reduces chlorine and limescale, better for your skin).

Downstairs:
Shared lounge/ diner.
Chair which turns into a single guest bed.
Broadband, Chromecast, Freeview. Thermostat.

Kitchen.
New double oven so we can cook at the same time.
Fridge freezer. Washing machine. Cutlery, bowls, plates, pans for shared use.

Sunny garden.
Flowers, veggies, clothes line, seating, table, space for bike. Great for nature, reading and outside entertaining.

Me:
Easy to get along with. Sociable, good sense of humour and welcoming. I work mostly from home. Up around 6.30am. Enjoy creativity, documentaries, reading, music, films, running, nature, rock climbing, Spanish and stand up paddleboarding. I work in IT.

- conscientious to keep the bills down. I turn plugs off at the socket when not in use. It's a habit which reminds me of my nan.

- overnight guests are welcome but the room isn't suitable for couples to rent together.
