An older lady with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value and enjoy the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She is well-supported by Carers but would lovely someone to cook and share some meals with her, play a board game or sit and chat. Her daughter does a lot of looking after the house, but some cleaning/dusting, ironing and occasional shopping would be helpful too as well as ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a bright double bedroom, furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets, and shared use of the shower room, lounge, kitchen and garden. It is a very neat and tidy home.

The property is located on the Isle of Sheppey, approx. 10-15 minutes’ walk from Queenborough Station.

The lady likes listening to radio plays, loves quiz shows and gardening programmes, and playing card games and board games. She enjoys company and a chat too.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
