AFFORDABLE accommodation offered in Sevenoaks, Kent area, excellent opportunity for a someone who is looking to live in a lovely home.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find Homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help/support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
• Nearest train station is Sevenoaks station and is 500 metres away with fast trains (35 mins) to London and connection to local buses.

HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely couple in their mid 60's & 70's, live in a lovely spacious 4 bedroom house with a well maintained garden and a front drive way in a town in Sevenoaks, Kent. Due to the lady's heath condition they have a care assistant come to the property for 3 hour per day Monday - Friday. They have a small friendly spaniel and occasionally enjoy taking the dog for short walks, watching T. V and doing crosswords.

The ideal homesharer would be someone who is a kind, friendly with some experience of helping people with Psychological challenges. Someone who can support and encourage the lady when necessary, and allow the gentleman a bit of respite some evenings and weekends.

ACCOMMODATION
Large detached 4 bed house with a well maintained garden.
2 Sitting rooms, modern kitchen, study, downstairs cloakroom, family bathroom and an orangery.

The homesharer will have an en suite double room on the first floor with a road view, a double bed, chest of drawers, desk, chair and storage space.
Good fibreoptic broadband connection in all rooms.
There is an additional shared bathroom on the first floor.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The room is available early May 2023 subject to DBS, Reference and ID checks and after an initial meeting has been organised
