Bird Cottage is a charming, self-contained one-bedroom cottage offering a comfortable and convenient place to live. It has a private entrance, a kitchen/dining area, a shower room and direct access to the shared garden.

The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday living, with a cooker, fridge-freezer, washing machine, cutlery, cooking utensils and crockery provided for the tenant’s use.

The location is particularly convenient. Three supermarkets, local shops, the high street and Station Road are all within a five-minute walk, while Sidcup Station is approximately a six-minute walk away. With shops, transport and local amenities close by, the cottage is well suited to someone looking for an easily accessible and convenient home.

The garden is shared and enjoyed by everyone, with direct access from the cottage. There is also an outdoor table in the garden, which everyone is welcome to use — whether you feel like sitting outside with a cup of tea, enjoying a meal or simply relaxing and reading a book.

As the garden is directly in front of the cottage, a tenant who enjoys gardening and would be happy to contribute occasionally to keeping it looking pleasant would be very welcome. This is entirely optional and not a requirement.

The tenant is responsible for keeping the cottage clean, tidy and well maintained. We simply ask that the cottage and garden are treated with care and respect. If time permits, any small contribution towards the general upkeep of the cottage and garden would also be appreciated.

We ask that electricity and water are used responsibly and that unnecessary consumption is avoided. When you are away from the cottage, I would kindly ask that the shower, water heater, lights and other electrical appliances are switched off where appropriate, both for safety and to avoid unnecessary energy use.

Ground-Floor Double Bedroom - Available from 1st October 2026

A spacious and comfortable double bedroom is available on the ground floor, situated at the front of the house. The room is fully furnished and thoughtfully arranged for comfortable living, with a double bed, sofa, table and wardrobe.

The bathroom is conveniently located at the end of the hallway and is primarily for the lodger’s use.

A large, shared kitchen is available for the lodger to use, with plenty of space for cooking and preparing meals. Cooking utensils, crockery and other kitchen essentials are also provided.

The location is particularly convenient, with three supermarkets, local shops, the high street and Station Road all within a five-minute walk.
