Queens Park Double Room

About the room:

I have a double bedroom in a traditional Glaswegian tenement flat. The place is warm, cozy and furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe, and a desk and chair. The chest of drawers has been removed (see photo).

The place has a modern washer and a dryer, and a dishwasher and a kitchen with an oven/stove, dishwasher and coffee machine. There is also weekly cleaning!

Bills included are: gas, electricity and broadband.

About myself:
I work study a doctorate part-time. I enjoy having friends over occasionally for games nights or film nights. I get to the gym, enjoy going out and/or travelling occasionally. I tend to cook at home from scratch. Regarding food and cleaning solutions, I'm happy to share these; whatever you use, replace like-for-like and/or within reason.

As far as a potential housemate, I look for someone who:
- has an active lifestyle and not a homebody
- is a good communicator, considerate, doesn't assume
- has a good social life, whether hanging out at home sometimes and/or with friends
- is tidy/clean in all common areas
- is LGBTQ+ friendly
- is respectful of personal and shared space and time
- is looking for a housemate - someone to socialize with every now and then but can also respect boundaries

You can be a student and/or a professional.

About the location:
My place is conveniently located near a range of pubs, cafes and shops in a quiet location between Victoria Road and Pollokshaws Road. It's a 3-minute walk from Queens Park train station, which has direct trains just 2 stops away from Glasgow Central Station every 15 minutes; the journey is between 5 and 8 minutes - quick! You can also get here by bus in 15 minutes by taking the 3, 4, 4A, 6, 38, 38B, 38E and 57 and 57A; these go via the city center and Glasgow Central Station - so good access for Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian as well as the University of Glasgow.
