Description
Double room available from May in Murano Crescent, near Glasgow's west end.
£550 per month, with all bills included - council tax, gas, electricity, broadband, Netflix and anything else I've forgotten.
*£650 for couples*
Room is sizeable, has loads of storage space. I have an en-suite which means the second bathroom would be yours most of the time.
Flat is well served by buses, and is a 20-25 minute walk from Byres Road, the University of Glasgow, and the nearest subways (St George's Cross and Kelvinbridge), You can also walk to the city centre, though as above buses take about 10 minutes. Tesco and Lidl are also close by.
It is a third floor flat, but has a lift. There's a river running alongside the flat, you get the odd boat going past. The path next to it is quite a popular running and cycling route.
There's street parking too. We have one dedicated parking space for the flat, but there's always spaces elsewhere in the street.
You would be living with a journalist who will respect your own space but is also happy to take you for a drink or, if you're new to Glasgow, show you the city. Would be good to get a flatmate who is up for the odd Netflix binge.
I don't own a dog but I do often look after my friend's little Pomeranian, and she'll be in the flat a lot, so would prefer someone who also likes dogs. She's adorable though, you'll love her.
