Double room with en-suite available in a lovely, well-furnished flat in a well-connected area. £750 per month including bills (gas, electricity and wifi). This is not including council tax (band C). The landlord also has a cleaner come once a month: "£25ph generally £50 depending on mess and if you want your room cleaned"

About the flat: the flat is fully furnished, please see the accompanying pictures for details. The available room has a double bed, storage facilities, and en-suite bathroom with shower. The room also comes equipped with a Yale lock on your door and blackout blind. The kitchen comes equipped with a Rancilio coffee machine, kettle, toaster, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There is counter space for a microwave or air-fryer if you have one/want one.

About the area: the flat is located in a very peaceful residential area next to the forth and clyde canal which is ideal for walking, cycling and running. It has plenty of parking, is close to Anniesland train station (from which it is easy to reach Glasgow city centre), bus stops, and several supermarkets (Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi, Marks and Spencers, local convenience shops).

About me: hello! I'm Charlie, I'm 31 and I'm a PhD student at the University of Strathclyde (transport and sustainability). I like anything outdoors, like hiking, climbing, cycling, camping and bird-watching. I also like reading with a cup of tea, socialising with friends (coffee dates, board games, dinner, walking, museum visits), and watching films. I'm generally at uni 9-5 Monday to Friday. I'm happy to provide references.

In a flatmate I'm looking simply for someone who is polite, friendly and respectful of shared spaces. It is important that we each take our share of responsibility for maintaining the communal areas; that we are respectful of each other's personal spaces; that we communicate with each other clearly; and most importantly that we are friendly and kind.
