Hi there,
I'm looking for a flatmate for the spareroom in my flat. I work in the city center in financial services. I'm a friendly, social person. I enjoy cooking, a big walker and also the odd reality tv show. I'm considering letting the spare room to the right person and someone I'll get on with.
The room comes with a brand new double bed, side tables, and wall fitting for a TV. The room also has a cupboard in it. There's also a chest of drawers and standing mirror. Theres space for a desk if you have one to bring (the chest of drawers can go in the cupboard). The room has secondary sound proofing for the road outside. There is a bathroom available seperate to mine, as I have my own ensuite, however guests may use this if visiting.
There is a large shared lounge and dining space and a separate kitchen. The kitchen has a washing machine, dryer, large fridge freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen is bigger than the photos suggest and there is plenty cupboard and fridge space. There is also a pool and spa for residents of the block (gym, hot tub, sauna and steam room).
Bills are to be shared equally and £119 council tax, the property is the council tax band E. I'm happy to pay for the existing wifi. If a student, I would just ask for the extra 25% of removing the council tax exemption (so £60). This would be ideal for shorter stay tenants as well as those here for a semester, but I'm also open to longer term and elements can be discussed depending on need / duration.
Ideally looking for a February move in, although I can be flexible (excluding the final weekend in January). I have no pets currently, but am considering getting a small dog, so any allergies or dislike and I'll hold of.
The flat is 5/10 minutes walk to the city center and around 30 to the center of the west end. It is also very near the cowcaddens underground station for further travel. It is also situated on the canal with great cycle routes that can make it very easy to get about. The flat has shared parking and I can register an additional car to my own. The flat is situated on the third floor above the amazing Ocho spa / cafe incase you get hungry or need a coffee.
