Hi there,
I've recently relocated back to Glasgow after ten years down in England. I'm a forensic accountant who works in the city but dont let that fool you - I'm a friendly, social person. I enjoy cooking, a big walker and also the odd reality tv show.
I recently bought the flat and I'm considering letting the spare room. The room comes with a brand new bed, side tables, and wall fitting for a TV. The room also has a cupboard in it. There's space for a chest of drawers and/or desk if needed - although I havent got these incase you already have something. It also has secondary sound proofing for the road outside. There is a bathroom available seperate to mine, as I have my own ensuite.
There is a large shared lounge and dining space and a separate kitchen. The kitchen has a washing machine, dryer, large fridge freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen is bigger than the photos suggest and Ive got plenty empty cupboards as it stands living on my own. There is also a pool and spa for residents of the block (gym, hot tub, sauna and steam room).
Bills are not included in the price and are to be split equally. For you this would lilely be c.£50 a month electric and £119 council tax, the property is the council tax band E. I'm happy to pay for the existing wifi. If a student, I would just ask for the extra 25% of removing the council tax exemption (so £60). This would be ideal for shorter stay tenants as well as those here for a semester, but I'm also open to longer term and elements can be discussed depending on need / duration.
Ideally looking for a mid October move in, although I can be quite flexible. I have no pets but am considering getting a small dog, so any allergies or dislike and I'll hold off.
The flat is 5/10 minutes walk to the city center and around 30 to the west end. It is also very near the cowcaddens underground station for further afield. It is also situated on the canal with great cycle routes that can make it very easy to get about. The flat has shared parking (plenty always there from my experience) and I can register an additional car to my own. The flat is always situated on the third floor above the amazing Ocho spa / cafe incase you get hungry or need a coffee.
