Looking for a lovely flatmate for a west end flat

Hi! I’m Patricia, 31, and I’m looking for a new flatmate to share my lovely, cosy flat. The room is £725 per month with everything included, so there are no extra bills to worry about. There’s also a loft with plenty of extra storage space, a shared garden, and free on-street parking.

The flat is in a lovely, quiet location near the canal and overlooking Dawsholm Park, so there’s plenty of green space nearby. Kelvindale train station is around a 4-minute walk away and Anniesland is about 10 minutes on foot. There’s also a direct bus connection from just outside the flat to the University of Glasgow, making it really easy to get into the West End.

The flat is very much a home rather than just somewhere to sleep, so I’d love to find someone who feels similarly. It’s a comfortable, relaxed space and I like keeping the shared areas clean and tidy, without being obsessive about it.

A little about me — I’m friendly, sociable and pretty easy-going. I work in science and have a fairly flexible schedule. Outside of work I love travelling, being outdoors, going on adventures and swimming, but I’m also quite creative and like to spend time painting, doing something crafty/DIY, and working on little projects. I enjoy going out and seeing friends, but I equally love a cosy evening at home.

I’m quite independent and appreciate having my own space, but I also don’t want to live with someone I barely know or only exchange hellos with in the hallway. 😄 It would be lovely to find someone who is up for the chat in the kitchen, watching something together, playing a board game or doing something socially, while still having our own lives and respecting when the other person wants some alone time.

I’m looking for someone friendly, considerate, tidy and respectful of the shared spaces, ideally with a similar relaxed and positive vibe who would like to make the flat feel like their home too. I’d prefer someone looking to stay longer term, but I’m also open to shorter stays if we seem like a good fit as flatmates.
