I’ve just bought a lovely four-bedroom first-floor flat on a quiet Hyndland street. I’m looking for one friendly flatmate to share it with me and my 9-year-old son. The fourth room is our office/spare room, so it would just be the three of us, with plenty of space for everyone.

Your bit:
+ A lovely furnished double bedroom (photos of the room attached) with double glazing (cosy and quiet)
+ A bathroom that’s yours alone (photo attached). It’s not en-suite, but nobody else uses it. No queues!
+ Fresh paint and new decor on the way. I’m giving the whole place a makeover. FYI: the furniture in these photos is not mine!

The location (honestly hard to beat):
+ 2 mins to Hyndland Road for buses, cafés and brunch spots
+ 5 mins to Sainsbury’s
+ 10 mins walk to Hyndland station, 20 to Hillhead Subway
+ Shared residents’ garden for sunny days (Glasgow allowing)
+ Permit parking available to apply for (permit not included in costs)

The money:
£800/month, including gas, electricity and wifi.

It's Council Tax rate F, and Council Tax would cost an addition £50 per month (for non students).

About us:
We’re a mellow little household. We love a shared dinner, a natter in the kitchen, a film night or having friends round for food. We’re not a party flat, and we value our quiet time as much as our company. Ideally you’d be someone who gets on with us, likes a chat, and is just as happy with a door closed and a good book.
