Description
Hey! I'm looking for a housemate for my 2 bedroom, 1 bath flat in Shawlands.
I have been subletting my room for the last month, and with my current housemate moving out at the end of September, I would be looking to take over the lease with a new housemate and start afresh. We would need to apply together to the letting agency, we've already notified them of the interest, and are waiting to hear back to get the ball rolling.
The room can be furnished or unfurnished, if you would like to buy my current housemate's furniture off of them for a price that reflects the convenience, that can be organised too.
- 540ppm + bills (est 40-70)
- council tax band C (though I have a student exemption)
- Furnished or Unfurnished bedroom
- Starting September 27th but can be a little flexible.
- 2 min walk to Polokshaw East, Multiple bus routes, Tesco Express, Morrisons, and Lidl, Queens Park and Pollok Park.
A little about me: My names Stoz (they/them) and I am an Australian international student, about to start my masters of fine arts at the Glasgow School of Arts. I offer much to a home! Asides from undeniable wit and good looks, I'm handy with a drill, good at fixing things, and genuinely just love being around people. Always happy to be a listening ear or hype you up. I'm also a very lucky person, and that good energy comes with me into any house I'm a part of. I'm fun and relaxed but I do like to keep a neat and tidy living space.
I'm a pretty busy person, usually out during the day. i'm looking to live with someone I can be friends with and have a chat with, whilst not feeling like we have to be forcibly socialising all the time. As long as we can have a laugh and appreciate the importance of home being a relaxing space.
Definitely not apposed to the occasional duel-organised gath, and having some friends round, but it's important to me that there is good communication around this stuff and prioritising each others comfort in the home comes first.
I'm looking for a housemate who is kind and chill who takes initiative in helping keep the home clean, tidy and comfortable.
If you're interested, send me a message with a little bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a living situation :)
