Double room in a 2-Bedroom House

Room in refurbished 2-bed house near Bailgate & Burton Road

I’m looking for a housemate to share a two-bedroom house that I am currently buying and refurbishing before the move-in date.

The house has a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms and a large garden with side access and bike storage. There is unrestricted on-street parking.

The kitchen will include standard white goods, dishwasher and washing machine.
The bedroom will have a double bed and wardrobe (additional furniture can be requested).
The living room and dining room will both be furnished so we’ll have plenty of shared space.
The bathroom has a bath and shower.

Location:

5-minute walk to Bailgate, Cathedral and Castle
2-minute walk to Burton Road (Co-op, pubs, restaurants, takeaways)
15-minute walk to city centre
5-minute drive to Tesco, Aldi and Lidl

Living arrangements:
I will be a live-in landlord and we’ll share the kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room and garden. Since there will only be two of us, there should be plenty of space. I work from home most of the week and you’re welcome to do the same — we can make sure we both have space to work.

I’d like the house to feel calm, clean and homely. We should both keep shared areas clean and tidy and just be respectful of the space.
