Self-contained space in quiet village location

We have a room to rent in Scampton Village, a peaceful place, with an award-winning pub and church, yet only 10 minutes from Uphill Lincoln.

We are a friendly family of four. I am a teacher, my partner works for Lincoln Uni and we have two daughters, aged 6 and 4. We also have two dogs, who are very chilled.

The room can either have a single bed (to allow for more space) or a double. The bed in the picture is a king-size and so might make the room appear smaller. We have occasionally rented the room on Airbnb, so I am happy to provide the link to this, so you can read reviews.

The room has double fitted wardrobes, for plenty of storage and a lockable wardrobe can be provided to keep possessions safe over the weekend. It is on the ground floor, away from our bedrooms upstairs, with a shower room next to it, for your sole use, so you get a little more privacy. There is also a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge-freezer, hot-plate and washing machine available to use in the utility room, which the bedroom leads off from. Bedding can be provided and washed, as well as cleaning of the room, for no extra fee. There is a back entrance to the house, which would be mainly used by you, so if you prefer to keep yourself to yourself, then this would be ideal. You are welcome to use the garden, which is over a third of an acre in size and overlooks fields. Perfect for some peace and tranquility.

Mon-Fri for £400 (£450 for couples).

Additional weekend days and use of the kitchen, available on request.

The area for rent would suit someone who is sociable but likes their own space and probably sees the accommodation as a convenient and quiet place to stay, away from work and socialising. Perhaps someone who only needs the room a few days a week. It would probably also suit someone who has managed to get to the end of this lengthy advert! :)
