Description

This lovely double room for single occupancy, includes fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and double bed.

The house is a lovely 3 bedroom house – and best of all we are hardly ever there – for most of the time, you have a house all to yourself. On a weekly basis (term times only) we are there on Friday evenings from 9pm and then leave on Saturday morning. On occasion we stay over on Saturday night and leave on Sunday. From time to time one of us is there for a night or two during the week. We are not there at Xmas, New Year, Easter and most of the summer.

You have full use of the house – a light and lovely big front room, a dining room, bathroom/toilet + a second toilet right next to your room, and there is an entrance porch to hang coats, shoes and put a bike in. The bathroom has a bath and shower and toilet which is located downstairs and on the first floor adjacent to your room is a toilet. The 35 ft garden used to be beautiful, and if you are a gardener you can, with a little bit of work, return it to its past glories.

Conveniently located in Poets Corner, 1 mins walk from Acton Central Station and all the lovely shops on Churchfield Road – it’s only a 12 min walk to Acton Main Line Station (Elizabeth Line). 5 mins walk to Acton High Street with plenty of buses to Ealing, Shepherds Bush, Chiswick, Hammersmith etc. The house is located near to the A40 and M4.
Downstairs is floorboards and tiles and upstairs (except for the upstairs toilet) it is all newly carpeted.

When we come on Fridays, we bring our 2 children and our golden retriever- Charlie. Very occasionally we bring cats – so you need to be a pet lover.

We are creatives and the house would suit someone who is professional (perhaps works in the Arts or has a passion for theatre) and who is tidy, respectful and has a sense of humour. If you like gardening – even better – as you would have the opportunity to turn the back garden back to its former past glory.

The neighbours are all lovely and quiet and we have a very good relationship with them.

The rent is £1100 a month (but for this you get for most of the time a gorgeous 3 bedroom house to yourself). This includes all bills, i. e, gas and electricity, water, broadband, council tax, TV licence (but please note the heating is not on all day, couple of hours in the morning and several hours in the evening, increasing as and when we have cold weather!).

Parking is available with parking permit and you can put a bicycle in the front porch or front garden.

If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to live, with fantastic local amenities (great pub just a minute away and local food shops, greasy spoon and a lovely bakery and coffee shop + lots of other eateries) then this would be perfect.
