Description
One double bedroom with ensuite available in an apartment in central Acton.
The apartment is on the 4th floor, with very secure access.
Double room is available to replace myself and my partner as we are moving overseas. Current flatmate is wanting stay on, hence we will are trying to fill our room. She has her own double bedroom and bathroom.
We moved into the building approx. 18 months ago, when it was newly built, so the apartment and building is very modern with minimal upkeep required.
The available room has it's own balcony, with lovely views over the nearby park and into London. There is another balcony off the main living area also, and a shared roof terrace for building tenants.
There is a separate laundry room, and plenty of additional storage in a separate cupboard in the hallway.
The apartment comes furnished as part of the tenancy, and the kitchen is fully kitted out. Any additional furnishings can stay with the new tenant if needed.
I work from home predominantly, so I have a desk set up in the shared living space (see photos) which works really well. Our flatmate is a teacher so it out of the house during working hours.
It's a quiet building, all the neighbours are lovely but often you don't even see or hear them.
Transport links:
10 min walk to Acton Town (Piccadilly & District Lines) - 25 mins to Heathrow on the Piccadilly line
10-15 min walk to Acton Central (Overground - Mildmay Line)
15-20 min walk to Acton Main Line (Elizabeth Line)
Plenty of bus routes that connect to Ealing Broadway, Shepherds Bush and Chiswick very easily. All very walkable also.
Full supermarket - Morrisons - across the road, and easy access to the main high street.
Gunnersbury Park is about a 15-20min walk away.
We absolutely love the location, there are so many transport options to get in and around the rest of London.
The room would ideally suit a couple, as reflected in the rent, but single tenants are more than welcome.
The current tenancy expires early August 2026, so we would ideally like to find a tenant(s) who are happy to take over the existing tenancy with our flatmate until then, and then you can decide if you'd like to sign on longer.
The whole building is property managed by the same company, and they are pretty good to deal with overall. Please be prepared with a reference as the property manager will likely need this to change over the named tenants.
We signed on to the tenancy with a zero-deposit option, so there should be no additional overheads to move in. Rent is due 2nd of the month - managed by our flatmate - and expenses are usually 80-100 a month, including council tax (Band C)
Please reach out with any questions - I'm very flexible with viewings, in person or online.
Ideal move in date would be 7-8th February 2026, but happy to be flexible here.
