Double room Acton — Elizabeth line - 2-bed 2-bath

Double room available in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom first-floor Edwardian flat in Acton, sharing with me.

The flat is comfortable, bright and still being finished off. The living room has a sofa, TV and space to relax, and more furniture / finishing touches are being added over the next few weeks. The room comes furnished with a double bed, mattress and desk. The room also has built-in wardrobe/storage space, with a hanging rail and shelf.

The flat is around 10 minutes’ walk to the Elizabeth line, and from there it is roughly 10 minutes to Central London, 25 minutes to Canary Wharf, and 20 minutes to Heathrow.

It is also around 15 minutes’ walk to the Piccadilly and District lines and 5 minutes from the overground.

You would have use of the main bathroom. I have the ensuite, so bathroom sharing is minimal.

The kitchen is older but fully functional, with oven, hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and air fryer. Longer term, a kitchen and bathroom renovation is planned within around 18 months.

Within a month locks will be added to bedroom doors and A/C will be installed in the living room.

Rent is £900 pcm + £175 bills, so £1,075 pcm all-in. Bills include council tax, utilities, water and broadband. Council tax is Band D.

I’m 26 and work a 9–6 corporate job in the City. During the week I’m usually pretty chilled, but I’m also up for a chat, a drink, or watching something in the living room.
