Spacious Double Room | Aldgate East/Whitechapel

Neutrally decorated double room located near to Aldgate East station and Whitechapel station (7-9mins walk for both).

Bed, standing desk + chair and wardrobe in the room.
Happy for you to add more furniture to make the room feel more like yours.

The flat is split across two levels (ground floor and lower ground).
There is a shared bathroom and open plan living and kitchen area.
There is also an outdoor patio area just off the living room.
The room for rent also has its own entrance door if you wish to use it.

If you need this to only be short term, or weekdays only I can accommodate so do just message mentioning that. Bills are not included and the council tax band is D.

I’m looking for a female flatmate who is easygoing, has lived with cats before and loves them as I do have an indoor ragdoll that is very clingy and loves people (he has photobombed some pictures in the listing). He will want to spend time with you and be in your room, and it makes both him and I sad for him to be sitting outside a closed door so please consider this carefully. The neighbours have cats too so it is quite a cat friendly building in general.

I am very neat and tidy and a tad OCD so someone who is on a similar level would probably love living here and we will get on just fine. I am on the spectrum, (high masking) so when i'm at home I can sometimes be low energy and quiet as it's my safe space to switch off.

Some quirks of mine:
- No walking with outdoor shoes inside - the germs...
- No smoking - hand on heart I can smell it more than most other people...
- Water droplets - I prefer a dry bathroom/kitchen floor and around the sinks. It's a sensory thing... I keep mops and cloths handy
