Description

Double room with your own bathroom in a converted warehouse near Brick Lane 🐾

Our lovely housemate Hope is moving in with her boyfriend, so we’re looking for someone friendly, clean and considerate to join Jess, Jemma and our cat, Bailey.

About us
We’re Jess and Jemma—two sociable women who met through SpareRoom and have since become besties! Jess works for an international charity and Jemma is a teacher. We love cooking for each other, going out for dinner or drinks, and getting cosy for a film night, but we also have our own friends, plans and routines.

We’d love to find someone around 29–33 who enjoys a similar balance and wants a friendly, welcoming home. Your name doesn’t have to begin with J...

We keep the flat clean and tidy and would love someone who naturally does their bit to make it a comfortable space for everyone.

The room and flat
The room comes with a double bed with plenty of storage underneath and an open wardrobe. You’ll also have sole use of a separate family bathroom—no negotiating shower schedules!

The flat is in a distinctive converted warehouse building and has a balcony. There’s a lovely mix of young people and families in the building, with friendly neighbours and a real sense of community. We’ve always felt safe and comfortable here.

The area
We’re brilliantly placed for getting around and making the most of East London:

Around seven minutes’ walk to both Whitechapel and Aldgate East stations. For Lizzie line, District and H&C and Overground.

Five minutes from Brick Lane, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby.

Around five minutes from Tesco, plus several gyms within easy reach.

Our ideal housemate
We’d love someone friendly and considerate who’ll feel at home joining us for dinner, a film or a catch-up, while also having their own thing going on. Ideally you won't work from home that much.
And you’ll need to be happy sharing with Bailey, our much-loved cat—she’s very much the baby of the house!

Rent: £1040.66per month includes water
Bills: Vary each month for elec but around £90-120/3 on average £25/3 for wifi and £189/3 for council tax
Available from: 14 Nov

If this sounds like your kind of home, send us a little about yourself, your usual routine and what you’re looking for in a flatshare. We’d love to meet you!
