Bright double room in North London

Hiya! I’m Marian, and my partner Nate and I are looking for a friendly, easygoing, fun and considerate housemate to sublet our spare room in North London for a 6-month sublet, available immediately until next Spring 🌸

We’re looking to fill this bright, fully-furnished double room in our cosy 2-bedroom flat, with plenty of storage and shared access to the rest of the house, including our kitchen, washing machine and dryer, living room and lovely shared garden.

The flat is a three-minute walk from Alexandra Palace station, which gets you straight to King’s Cross in around 7 minutes or Moorgate in around 20. Wood Green tube station on the Piccadilly line is also a 10-minute walk away.

You would also be a short walk from Alexandra Palace and its beautiful park and events, while Wood Green, Crouch End and Muswell Hill are all close by for cafés, restaurants and shops. It’s a lovely residential area that gives you peace and greenery with easy access to central London.

A little about us -
Nate is originally from New York State, but now lives in London and works for a Social Enterprise, full-time on-site five days a week.

I am a North Londoner born and bred, working in marketing full-time on a hybrid basis, going into the office twice a week.

We also have two very lovely cats 🐈🐈‍⬛ who are a big part of our home. They’re both cute and affectionate indoor/outdoor cats. There’s no expectation whatsoever to look after or care for them, we’d just need you to be comfortable living with cats and having them around the house.

Outside of work, we’re pretty sociable and love going out for food, seeing friends, visiting the local garden centre, playing Nintendo Switch and getting cosy on the sofa with a film or TV show. We’d be very happy to have you join us for dinner, drinks, a film night or the occasional outing, but equally, we completely understand wanting to do your own thing and respect that! Your room will also have its own television with all our streaming apps on it

We’re hoping to find someone who’ll feel comfortable and at home while they’re here, while being respectful of the fact that it’s our home too. We’re looking for someone easygoing, tidy, good vibes and considerate, who works on-site or hybrid 💛 (Unfortunately, we’re not looking for anyone who works from home full-time.)

💷 £750 pcm, all bills included (a third of the monthly rent and bills, with Me and Nate covering the other two thirds)

📅 6-month short let (End date: April 25th 2027, with flexibility to extend if the vibe is right)
