Description
I’m coming to the end of my tenancy with my current flatmate in this beautiful, unique flat we’ve made into a real home. I’m now looking for a replacement flatmate to continue renting the entire flat together and renew the tenancy.
The first 3 photos show the shared living room and kitchen, and the rest show the available bedroom. More photos and videos are available on request.
Please note: the living room decor will remain, so the new tenant should be comfortable with the existing furnishings and creative, artsy style.
Rent & Bills
• Current rent: £860 pcm for the room (£1720 total flat)
• Expected rent on renewal: approx. £900 -£920 pcm pp (I’ll negotiate with the landlord, we’ve lived here for 2 years and have a good relationship, but I’m not sure what they’ll try raise the rent to this is just a guess)
• Bills not included: approx. £120–£160 pcm pp, depending on season, water bill is charged twice a year so occasionally there’s that on top of the bills as well)
(Council tax is the largest bill; winter months are higher)
Council Tax Band B
• Deposit: 5 weeks rent
• Tenancy length: 12 months minimum

The Household
This has previously been a girls’ house, Black household, non-religious, and queer-friendly. The flat embodies a welcoming and liberal energy, which is part of what makes it feel like home. Ideally, looking for a replacement housemate that suits.
The flat is a 2 bed, 2 bath: The listed room has a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom.
I work remotely and would love a flatmate with a similar vibe:
• Very clean, tidy, and considerate
• Respectful of shared spaces
• Social from time to time, but no pressure to be best friends, just thoughtful, comfortable co-habiting
• Comfortable hosting friends and loved ones occasionally, but no live-in partners or couples sharing the room
Ideal Flatmate
• Earning minimum approx £30k per annum
• Comfortable renewing the tenancy together
