We're looking to rent a room Monday-Friday (or fewer days) in our beautiful flat in Angel, Islington for £850/month (all bills included). We're happy for you to move in anytime from now on.
About the room/flat: Single bed, huge window, loads of light, looks out onto a quiet park on a square with no through-road (so minimal traffice). A decent size closet and a chest of drawers is all yours. The only catch is our piano and printer are in the room (as we have no other space to keep them), so on occiasion we might go in to use them, but this will happen with your consent and only when you are not using the room.
There is a shared bathroom with a shower/tub, a seperate bathroom, a large living room and big kitchen, all of which you are welcome to use. We also have a balcony, looking out onto the backgarden. We are on the first floor of a Grade 2 listed property, so there's a little bit of privacy but still plenty of light and not too much noise.
About the area: We are 5min walk from Angel station, 15min from Farringdon and Kings Cross. The flat is on a quiet square with a church and park. There are so many wonderful bars, cafes, restaurants and shops in the area, and we are only 30min walking distance from the West End and many museums. Bank and the financial district is also 3 stops away on the tube.
About us: Me (F, 30) and my partern (M, 34) have been together for years, and we have only just recently moved back into Islington, an area we love. We're both clean, tidy people, who love cooking, travelling and having a chat over a glass of wine. I work 9-5 in an admin role in the performing arts, while my partner is an orchestra conductor by day and bartender by night. This means we are often on opposite schedules, so are rarely both in the flat, though when we have a night off together, we like to spend it cooking a nice meal and watching a silly TV show.
