Description

We are looking for a housemate to join our friendly house share. It will be available from October 2.

We live on a nice and quiet road with friendly neighbours, and are very close to transport links, shops and cafes. Archway station is a five minute walk from the house, which makes it easy to get to central London (zone 2). As well as the tube, there are multiple bus routes within 1-5 minutes walk from the house, and Upper Holloway overground station is 15 minutes walk away. There is a corner shop and a nice cafe at the end of the road and a co-op supermarket, ALDI and M&S food 5 minutes walk away. Highgate village is just up the hill (15 mins walk). Waterlow Park and Hampstead Heath are very close as well (5 and 20 mins walk respectively).

The house is terraced and spread over 3 floors with 4 double bedrooms.

Downstairs is a bright lounge with a TV and a comfy large double sofa bed.

We have a large modern kitchen with a dining table and all appliances including microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is also a large spare room, which we mainly use to dry clothes and for storage. It also has a small sofa bed for the occasional friend or family member (in addition to the sofa bed in the living room).

There is a small toilet on the ground floor under the stairs, and a good size bathroom with bathtub/shower on the first floor. Water pressure is good.

We also have a garden at the back of the house, which is great for eating outside in summer.

The room for let is on the first floor, at the back of the house overlooking the garden. The room is furnished, and has a double bed, a bedside table, a chest of drawers, a small shelf, clothes rail and a storage unit. There's a possibility to add a desk (there is a spare desk/table and desk chair in the spare room).

It is a wonderful place to live, and your future flatmates are super nice and easy going. The reason why I’m leaving is that I am moving in with my boyfriend. The rent excludes council tax (band F) and bills. Bills (including council tax) are roughly £120-140 per month per person. Viewings will be September 2nd and 3rd
