The Flatmates
Aiden: 32, cis gay man, drag artist, cabaret performer, hot glue enthusiast
Liv: 29, cis bi woman, mental health worker & musician, about to start an MA
We’re both absolute delights, fairly introverted, but get on great with each other. Expect a lot of cackling, obscure pop culture references, and pontificating about films, music, and pop stars. We promise we’re not raging stereotypes. We’re both very respectful of each others’ space and privacy, but really enjoy spending time together. We love living here and having a peaceful house without too many people coming and going is important to us, so we’d love to find someone who wants a home to call their own (not literally, screw the housing crisis).
We’re on a fairly tight schedule, as we need someone to take over the rent by the middle/end of July.
Landlord and Logistics
We deal directly with the landlord, who is pretty cooperative and responsive, if a little old school and obtuse at times. We pay rent by check and he doesn’t do texts, however if there’s something wrong with the house he’ll fix it quickly.
You would be on the contract.
We rent privately, so there's no agency to go through referencing or guarantors. One housemate receives benefits, and the other will soon be going back into education, so let us know your situation and we'll try to make it work.
