Beautiful large double bedroom with ensuite available in an amazing North London terrace house (three stories; loads of communal space, no agency fees). The move in date is 1st of August

The room itself is a large double 5.15m x 3.7m, with fitted wardrobes for loads of storage. There is a period fireplace and 3 large windows looking out over the peaceful street. It is available unfurnished or if you are interested furnished, but in this case I would sell the forniture that would include a basically brand new bed + mattress (bought last year from muji) desk, chair and table bed (the ones in the pictures), and a sofa. (All of this for 400£)

The rent comes to £930/month. Bills will be about £170-190/month (depending on the energy cost increase) and the deposit payable is £930.

The house has all the mod-cons: a dishwasher, washing machine, broadband and a weekly cleaner. The entire ground floor is communal: lounge room; dining room; breakfast room and kitchen, and of course the lovely back garden. We also have a basement that brilliantly serves as extra storage.

Current housemates are working full time and are in their mid-late thirties. Housemate professions include a psychologist, a book binder, a producer and a sustainability manager. Hodusemate passions include cooking, cycling, climbing, crafting and plenty of other sports and outdoor activities not beginning with C!

It's a relaxed and friendly house and we like to have a chat, share a glass of wine (or beer) and sometimes a watch a film together in the evenings, equally we respect each other's space and do our own things too. There have been house-hosted barbecues and Christmas celebrations in the past; we'd like that spirit to continue.

Ideally, we're looking for a male who is friendly, considerate and tidy, in full time work, age min 30, who would be interested in being part of the house community but who also has his own things going on socially. The ideal housemate would also have normal working hours to fit the rest of our working / sleeping "schedule".

Finally, the location. The house is a five minute walk from Archway tube and a fifteen minute walk from Highgate station. There's a bus stop a minute from the door that services the 43/134/263 buses, and its a nice walk to Crouch End, Highgate and Hampstead for all your strolling, dining out and pubbing needs.
